Pennsylvania generated a record $2.8 billion in gaming tax revenue last year.

The Pennsylvania gambling Control Board presented its annual report on Wednesday, which included revenue from slot machines, table games, sports wagering, internet gambling, fantasy sports, and video gaming terminals at truck stops.

Revenues across the state climbed by 8.5% in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, at a time when many casinos have warned of diminishing profits, totaling $6.4 billion, according to the report. This amounted to $2.8 billion in taxes for the state.
